As long as no 5th place placement match has been played, they are tied. In the previous rank same places were present, I don't think this will change

After 12 years finally the time has arrived to have a football team back to Olympics. Being able to choose, however, I would prefer women's one, if I really can't get them both.

The event will serve for 2020 Olympic qualification for the American continent and will grant 1 quota for each individual event, except for trap, where 2 quotas will be available for both men and women. Specifically, they earned a quota in the male 50m rifle 3 positions and three quotas in skeet, 1 man and 2 women. It will also be interesting to see if any American nation will be able to sweep two titles in both men and women's 10 m air rifle, 10 m air pistol and trap, in order to grant also a composite mixed team quota for the olympic mixed team events.
