  1. St. Joseph has been missing in my nativity for years. Apparently, this year he got lost while coming back by ship from Pyeongchang after the Olympics :D
  2. Where is live stream for this relay?
  3. did it ever happen for anybody to be the last for a streak of three days?
  4. Bad days come when you work on something that it is not working, it is clear that won’t work, but you still try because it cannot be possible it isn’t working :D EDIT: and when you don’t like very much cinnamon, but your last chance is using cinnamic acid derivatives
  5. I was very lucky with public transport today. So lucky that to balance it, I needed a bad day at lab and a bad day on prediction contest :D
  6. I don’t really think I will ever watch this, but in case I change my mind, do you know if there is any available live stream?
  7. it may look like i'm a master in hockey as after the end of the first day I'm in the very first part of the ranking. But the real question is: is it a male or female competition?
  8. Looks like it, but at least they inserted also olympic rankings for road cycling and BMX (both racing and freestyle)
  9. It looks like UCI has finally updated the new Olympic qualification ranking for track cycling. That is great, because after weekend we will have to wait another month the get the updated ranking after the new World Cup stage
  10. this WC stage in Bern misses some names like Borrel. On the other hand, Pizzo was eliminated in preliminary rounds, while Garozzo and Santarelli lost in the first main stage. It really looks like that in Italy we cannot do epee. However, Favaretto
  11. Looking at the pools, I’m pretty sure of Germany and France. Then Spain. The last will probably be disputed through a match between Italy (I hope) vs one between Denmark and Serbia
  12. I suppose in the next few days. I don’t know about official bids (in theory the interested countries should have placed a bid by September 30), however I read that was interested. Possibly Italy too, especially if no convincing bids arrived at the closing deadline and FIVB wishes for more time to decide.
  13. 2021 women’s European championship were awarded to Serbia
  14. Biathlon stands first :D then short track. And now it is hard, so I think I’ll say alpine skiing
  15. I'm sure we will see vs in the pool. So I really hope may win its pool, so we can have a second chance to qualify to Tokyo. However, if I could choose, I would prefer the women's team to qualify rather than the male team. In that case, I would just be sad for Kean, he really deserves more than sitting on the bench at Juventus. This guy is the only chance Italy has to qualify for Tokyo.
  16. Nono, you got the point and I knew about the story and the political situation of the country. It wasn’t clear to me that “Chinese” was a request, I always thought it was due to the fact that claimed Chinese lands. I thought that once the word Chinese was eliminated by the country name, it was accepted by everybody as a sort of “status quo istituzionalization”. Kind of naive, evidently...
  17. Maybe I don't know about what Taiwan means in Chinese language or whichever is used there, but it seems quite strange to me that IOC is complaining that Taiwan doesn't want to use the "Chinese" word in its name. It sounds to me like a way to solve the political problem of the area.

  20. I'm planning holidays for 27-29, so I should be fine
  21. Maybe I don’t understand boxing, but I honestly don’t get how it is possible that Delaurenti lost to athlete
