WBSC has decided almost everything: americas qualifier in USA in March 2020; Europe/Africa qualifier in Italy, 18-22 September 2019 Final world qualifier in Taipei, dates yet to be published

@Benolympique just to answer your questions for football women: don't know about Africa while as regards North America, I found some time ago that an olympic qualifier tournament should have be held from 12 to 23 February 2020.

Eurosport Player is very cheap (relatively speaking), but obsessively transmits the same things, as Discovery, at least in Italy, hasn't got very much broadcasting rights However, they often have great deals (I bought 1 year of access for 15 euro during Black Friday and last year 25 euro, in the period of the Black Friday too). However, I must admit that when Eurosport decide to coverage something, it is almost perfect and actually covers everything, like the Pyeongchang Olympics. Plus, in the Player, you can watch the races without commentaries but without commercials However, the biggest deal is learning to search for sports on YouTube :D

I suppose another pre olympic tournament is going to be held, after all 6 places per gender is a large number. However, as far as regards other information I got on continental Olympic Qualification in table tennis, here are some: - African qualification will be 2019 African Games for team event and 2020 Africa Cup for individual and mixed; - Oceania will use 2020 Oceania Cup for individual and mixed event, while team qualification will be held in Mornington, , 6-8 December 2019 - Asia should use Asian Championships in Bali, , if I'm right, 15-22 September, at least for team qualification. I have no news and ideas regarding Americas and Europe. I though Europe would have used as team qualifiers the European Championship in Nantes, but it looks like it is not, as European Games will give it.

If my calculations are correct and the actual trend goes on, I will obtain 73 “we unfortunately have to inform you that your application has not been successful” letters this year. The funniest thing, in my opinion, is the 8-team tournament for a sport that is like beach volley and would deserve 24 or 32 teams, or 16 if you don’t want multiple teams per nation. But it is coherent with IOC policy of team sports: odd qualification systems and reduced number of participants, except for soccer which dislikes olympics. It is true that in love wins who flees.
