  1. Oh no, Kerschbaumer That is terribly sad
  2. Ah, so the Spanish former mountainbiker of who I've been wondering who it is for hours now is Hermida. I am very thankful to you sir I like Bart Brentjens as commentator but I'm very positively surprised by Hermida and am really enjoying his commentary, it's so nice and 'light' and you can just hear he is having tons of fun
  3. Everyone wants Schurter to beat them.
  4. Predicted Serbia by 40, Serbia wins by 46 Predicted Poland by 10, Poland wins by 11 Predicted Puerto Rico by 5, Puerto Rico wins by 2 Predicted Russia by 5, Russia wins by 5 Predicted Italy by 30, Italy wins by 46 Predicted China by 15, China wins by 15 Predicted Argentina by 25, Argentina wins by 26 Predicted Spain by 25, Spain wins by 39 Not unhappy
  5. Nice to see the Dutch team going pretty well again Not some insane improvement or something, they've always had several world class boats in Olympic disciplines so it's not like several medals is all too surprising or something, but nice
  6. Bresset 24th, Kalentyeva 30th+, Langvad 50th+....so many world champions who are SO FAR behind the pace nowadays.
  7. After Rissved's World Cup win, here's another lesson to never ever give up chasing dreams when everything is working against you.
  8. I mean, I find it cool Ferrand Prevot once again wins a world title at this supersweet track (as far as I am still feeling anything 'cool' or 'happy' after the shocking motorracing news which hit pretty hard), so that's nice, but yeah....once she overtook McConnell this turned into a major borefest.
  9. 2nd, 4th, 5th this year...it's not like she's been totally invisible so far. Edit: 2nd in a main race, standings are a bit annoying to read but she is 5th in the World Cup
  10. Usually that's not how it goes though. There's a relatively small handful of people taking the main results.
  11. Anthoine Hubert, 22 years old and GP3 champion last year, has passed away due to the crash What the fuck.
  12. Annika Langvad fighting for the top-50....which she isn't even in right now.
  13. That is my main guess, yes If she'd have been in the Brazilian circuit in the past 10 years I'd have heard that by now.
  14. Weird, Brazil is represented by Mourão and one Viviane Favery Costa of 1986, whoever that may be (even my girlfriend, who knows most ins and outs of Brazilian mountainbiking, has never heard of her). Weird thing is Leticia Candido was supposed to start, she is in Canada and the federation said a few days ago she'd ride. I guess she fell and got injured or something.
  15. Jesus Christ. Things have just gone horribly wrong at the Formula 2 feature race in Spa, beginning of the second lap at the infamous Eau Rouge/Radillon combination. The cars of Anthoine Hubert and Juan Manuel Correa have been completely destroyed, within a few minutes the race had not just been red-flagged, but cancelled overall. That is a very bad sign.
  16. Why is (for example) the M4- called 'coxless four', and M4x called 'quadruple sculls', even though the quadruple sculls also is coxless?
  17. A 100+kg guy doing this
  18. Wow, Kim
  19. 12km in 6min pace would bring you to 1:12 hours as finish time... @Agger Great job
  20. What a semi
  21. And one warm welcome to Totallympics for you
  22. I remember, and that guy looked incredibly....let's say, fat Silva doesn't look morbidly obese, so even though he's over two meters, I'm surprised to see he's well over 150kg
  23. Here comes the only time in my life I'm ever cheering against Moura
