  1. What a race by the Dutch 4x100m girls New NR and even a time with which they would clearly seriously challenge for an Olympic medal
  2. Well that's not that surprising from Gega Although it's interesting that she moved to the steeple here.
  3. Michael Phelps could have won this stage
  4. Wow, what an heroic victory
  5. Jesus, this weather
  6. I would not complain if Dumoulin wins
  7. That would be awesome
  8. Netherlands Men: Epke Zonderland, Bart Deurloo, Yuri van Gelder, Jeffrey Wammes, Frank Rijken. Women: Lieke Wevers, Sanne Wevers, Eythora Thorsdottir, Céline van Gerner, Vera van Pol.
  9. Start behind the safety car
  10. Huge, huge, huge amount of rain suddenly falling on Silverstone This is gonna be a crazy race
  11. Sleep, most likely
  12. I didn't see him today De Gendt is definitely going for the polka dots.
  13. Alright people, you gotta read this https://www.reddit.com/r/peloton/comments/4rk5y7/the_eqslidl_podium_conspiracy_theory/ The EQS-Lidl conspiracy: when there is a Lidl (German/European supermarket) within 10km of the centre of the finishing town, the chance of an EQS-rider taking a podium in that stage goes up with around 50% for every added Lidl (for races in Italy and France) Today there are no Lidl's near the finish, so no stage for EQS
  14. Not entirely sure what the exact list of riders is, but I'm fairly sure Pinot is there as well. Valverde and Contador seem to have trouble to close the gap though.
  15. Mark Renshaw already stopped after 2km or something..
  16. Big group attacked, Contador attacked and is now in a time trial together with Valverde to close the gap to the lead group
  17. Contador attacks And the race is exploding
  18. Did you forget he nearly broke his shoulder twice in the first week? It's really impossible to say anything about what form he was in before that fall..
  19. A breakaway group of half the peloton and LottoNL manages to miss it entirely, AGAIN Edit: Wait, I think I saw one! It's a miracle!
  20. That's really, really sad.. On the other hand, at least it looks like that javelin scandal didn't cost her her Rio chances in the end, as she got injured in the 800 apparently..
  21. 3rd place for Verstappen in qualifying Best Dutch qualifying result in Formula 1 history, since Jam Lammers' 4th place at the qualifying for Long Beach 1980 (Verstappen equalled it this year) Lammers' crappy car broke down after 20 meters that time, I hope the Red Bull will be better
  22. How would a male Kiplagat possibly be named in Lithuania? Kiplagatautas? I guess Kiplagatyte would be only a female name?
  23. Mostly because she's apparently most of the time based outside Russia It shows by the way, a couple of days ago I was a little surprised to hear she speaks really good English
  24. Michel Butter missed our marathon standard for Rio by 8 seconds earlier in the year. He might have gotten somewhat of a chance from our NOC if he performed great here, but he didn't. At least his reaction on TV now is that of a realistic athlete: "I would feel shit about missing Rio if I showed a great performance here, but I'm simply not ready for the Olympics and I would have no reason to run there anyway."
