  1. Very fast time for New Zealand
  2. The Dutch team has had such a weird race Germany was 0,3s faster after 2000m, then 2,4s faster after 3000m....and at the finish they were 0,055 slower (and they're definitely not the only team winning a lot on the Dutch between 2-3km)
  3. By the way, I'm sure GBR will bag a couple of medals here. If that's 'nowhere', I'd glady see the Netherlands be 'nowhere'
  4. Some of them are now apparently riding on bikes made for the Athens Games because the supersonic bikes for the 2016 Olympics are pretty much all broken http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/othersports/article-4366064/GB-ride-13-year-old-bikes-Track-World-Championships.html
  5. GBR goes home with 3 silver medals and 5 bronze medals by the way, according to my prediction contest results
  6. I doubt that's really a surprise, it's not the Olympics anymore so one just can't expect GBR to be nearly as good as last year in Rio
  7. USA vs Italy and Australia vs Canada in the semi's of the women's team pursuit at the world championships. GBR, NZL, FRA and POL still have a chance for bronze. No major surprise so far I guess.

  9. Those Nottingham caves look awesome (and any place with such a long history is cool!)
  10. Bouhanni has won Paris-Camembert and won the prize of his bodyweight (66kg) in smelly, gross Camembert cheese Dirty cheese, fits well with Bouhanni's reputation as a dirty rider
  11. Didn't Lithuania win some medals at the hot air balloon world champs? Nice choice then
  12. And with the P-R victory he has finally won his first cycling monument
  13. The whole biathlon family, except those that still had quiet hopes of Miri going to the Olympics
  14. This finish was amazing, Van Avermaet, Stybar and Langeveld (well, mostly GvA and Stybar, Langeveld was dead ) playing hardball for the win and Stuyven and Moscon all of a sudden coming from behind and catching up Did NOT see that coming And Patrick Lefevere's team not winning is usually good so yay Van Avermaet
  15. 20k to go, we're on the way to the infamous Carrefour de l'Arbre cobble section with 7 in the lead: Oss, Van Avermaet, Stybar, Langeveld, Moscon, Stuyven and Roelandts (of which we can discount Oss for the win, he's just there for GvA).
  16. Joachim Puchner and Jens Byggmark have also retired
  17. That was a serious bit of amazing racing by Verstappen today Alonso's McLaren giving up while he was in 7th Giovinazzi crashing again
  18. And we're live for Paris-Roubaix, the 'Hell of the North' Tom Boonen's last race, Belgian TV was already talking as if they're showing an 'In Memoriam' kind of thing
  19. World's gone mad, Karel Abraham qualifies in 2nd place in a rainy MotoGP qualifying in Argentina, wow! His best ever results were one 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th place in qualifying and now he takes 2nd
  20. Definitely. Men's synchronized swimming is also very charming, as shown several years ago already in this Dutch commercial
  21. Ha, it's just waiting until someone comes up with the idea of deleting some awesome shooting events and replacing them with some sort of weird mixed competition
  22. Sep 29 "TOCOG says they have a 'huge announcement' to make to be revealed on October 3" Oct 3 "Scheduled annoucment doesn't happen puzzling world media" Oct 17 "TOCOG: Announcement now to be held on November 12" Nov 12 "TOCOG release timetable on when mascot will be released"
  23. Here it's like 8-12 euro I think Well, or something like 4 if you have those frozen pizzas that you put in the oven at home which I love
