  1. I'm usually not much of a sightseeer when I go somewhere for an event, so no worries, a couple of hours is plenty of time for me
  2. I don't think being gay has anything to do with it And anyway, people who are not getting in semi-violent demonstrations won't get in this kind of trouble neither. Too bad for her, hopefully she makes better choices next time
  3. If that woman would just not be involved with these kind of 'peaceful' demonstrations, they would not have hit her
  4. He promised and he delivered, 7-0 against Lewis and only the 8th 'whitewash' (7-0) in Premier League history
  5. He played against Taylor, not against one of the top players
  6. Chisnall choking, surprise! Giving away an almost certain win against Van Gerwen which now ended in a draw. Van Gerwen was angry and I think Lewis should be afraid for the other match tonight: "Yeah I'm gonna destroy him, I've had enough of this" (not enough of Lewis, but enough of not winning and playing 'weak')
  7. And the Dutch delegation is still sitting at home waiting for our accomodations to be ready...
  8. This always reminds me of a Dutch children's program, where the not very intelligent clown all reads the name of Llanfair as if it's the most normal thing in the world while his very intelligent acrobat friend has no idea how to say it From 0:20
  9. In other words, they rack a disciprine!
  10. I would already like to make a bet: I say Manyonga and Samaai don't both get a medal in Tokyo, you say they both do. Loser pays the beer if there's ever a Totallympics meet Even more so: I say Simbine, Roto, Manyonga, Samaai and Viljoen all combined win no more than 1 medal, you say they win at least 2 combined medals. Loser pays the meat if there's ever a Totallympics meet
  11. We're the best in the world in two sports, why focus on a minor sport and take away excellence from those two?
  12. Actually I just finished dinner so no thanks
  13. The stream didn't open so I looked on Flashscore and it was 0-1 when I posted this, but damn, 0-4
  14. This is not going well.

  16. Wait, North Korea was not a great idea?!
  17. 7-8? Well in the case that every big talent keeps growing and every current top athlete is still world class in three years and everyone peaks in exactly the right time and there's some luck with other athletes not improving as much and there's some luck with other athletes not having a good day in Tokyo, it's possible I guess
  18. Jiujitsu seems a whole lot more interesting than karate and especially wushu, I'm happy they added it, and jetski looks fun 54-87kg (men) and 46-73kg (women) really needs to be divided in 8 (!) weight classes each? That seems a bit like over the top... I'm very happy kabaddi and sepak takraw will stay as they are, by far my two favourite 'unknown' sports when looking from a non-South East Asian perspective and two sports for which I most definitely will wake up in the middle of the night if there's a live stream
  19. dcro you're going down bro!
  20. No, he's a XC skier The slalomming was a technique exercise
  21. Thanks! I didn't hear about him for some time now, but I remember after skiing on one ski for a very short time he was already slalomming between obstacles as if he'd been doing it for all his life, so it would be a huge shame if he would be forced to compete in a sitting category (I doubt he'd even continue skiing then).
  22. Well he definitely deserved a move to a big team instead of an IBU Cup team, he has been doing a really great job. It's just sad to see someone who is both a really nice guy and a really good coach leave all of a sudden, now we'll just have to wait and see who the Brazilians will be coached by. My guess is his assistent will take over, Mattias something (Nilsson?), but we'll see I guess. At least the Brazilians aren't focused on biathlon for the Olympic qualification..
