  1. Gando and Chisnall have apparently changed looks for tonight. I already suspected something when 'Chisnall' was throwing so well, but now that 'Anderson' is choking like a Chisnall, I'm sure
  2. No thanks, I only watch snooker when I don't really want to sleep yet but there's absolutely nothing interesting on any other channel
  3. But that has nothing to do with Europa League football or Premier League darts, since snooker here is shown by Eurosport and BBC, whereas EL and PL are shown by RTL 7 (and EL is always live, PL is shown in highlight format on EL nights and live on non-EL nights)
  4. By the way, it's Raybar's 50th birthday today, let's see if he can pull off another of those amazing matches against Van Gerwen
  5. It's week 12 and Chisnall just got his 1st win since week 5, he somehow did not choke against Lewis when being 6-2 up Well, ok, he choked (10 meters under bulls eye and losing the leg, then missing 4 match darts but finishing it off in the madhouse, double 1), but not hard enough
  6. Hold on, 100% sure the people on the Dutch forum will know without looking it up Edit: It's not live on Dutch TV tonight because of Europa League football, so there's less people on the forum right now than usual, it might take a little longer before you have your answer
  7. Pretty logical that one has to do workouts to keep up the insane pace those Koreans throw in the mix
  8. I'm honestly convinced that's not what defined 'sports' when the modern Olympics started
  9. Better e-sports than surfing or skateboarding? Yep, definitely Unless there's a skateboarding event where the only goal is to be as fast as possible, in that case I would prefer that one
  10. Have you ever watched the best players in the world compete against each other in things like Starcraft? That seems a whole lot more sporty and 'active' than certain Olympic shooting events
  11. Incredibly impressive ride by 20-year old David Gaudu, even attacking in the last meters, but Valverde was way, way, way too strong, as expected
  12. 2km to go, Jungels is preparing to park his bike on the Mur de Huy
  13. 8km to go, Bob Jungels of Quick-Step at the front with a 50s lead. Alejandro Valverde meanwhile is closing in on his 4th straight win
  14. Donna Creighton has retired. http://www.ibsf.org/en/news/9-skeleton/20114-british-skeleton-slider-donna-creighton-ends-her-career
  15. Valgren scraping off half his face with this nasty fall in La Fleche Wallonne
  16. Clear 1-2 for the Skybots in the Tour of the Alps
  17. Especially shotgun and even more so double trap, you know, where it's like BOOM..BOOM and before you can blink they've shot down two semi-randomly moving targets somewhere in the air
  18. Better than dressage, skateboarding or pistol shooting
  19. Well, the last time Nibali was any good in a pre-GT stage race was like 4 years ago, so I have hope he can be beaten
  20. Meanwhile in the women's race at Fleche Wallonne, Puck Moonen has already dropped the pace after 8km...confirming once again her contract at Lotto Soudal is most likely not because of her performances, but her looks.. (she's sort of semi-famous here and mostly in Belgium ever since her relationship with cyclo-cross junior world champion Eli Iserbyt came out)
  21. Teams in the Tour of Croatia are mad First they had a 227km stage yesterday and then an almost 500km (!!) drive to the start of the 2nd stage @dcro Couldn't you plan the start of stage 2 a little closer to the finish of stage 1? (or the finish of stage 1 closer to the start of stage 2 for that matter)
  22. Meanwhile stage 3 of the Tour of the Alps has been changed as well because of snow, we won't see one of the 2000m+ climbs.
  23. Nope, the epic 28km final climb has been shortened to barely 12km and already finishing at 860m due to snow
  24. So this happened during Krueger - Tiafoe at the Sarasota Challenger... Sex sounds being heard, with people thinking it's coming from a phone....only to discover it's definitely not coming from a phone Especially Tiafoe's reaction after 2 minutes: "It can't be THAT good!" The incredibly awkward mother very awkwardly trying to make her son cover his ears (most likely knowing very well what's going on, come on, it's the internet age) is pure comedy gold as well
  25. I really miss Guyana Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue is still one of the 2-3 songs of past contests that I relatively often listen
