Apparently there's something going on with Berki possibly being screwed by the Russian head of judges, resulting in a Russian taking advantage of the situation. Hungarians are apparently fighting the decision. Not entirely sure what's going on, something with Berki starting after the judges gave the signal to start, but the green lights (and so the time keeping) had accidentally started earlier and so he got penalized for starting too late (even though he only started after the judges gave the signal, so not his fault).

I somehow have a feeling Nibali is going to win today's stage in Croatia with an insane show of force after today's news.

This is utterly bizarre: I was and still am watching the final 20-30km of yesterday's stage in the Tour of the Alps, where the big 4 in the general classification were dominating the last part of the race, including Scarponi. Not even 24 hours ago he finished 4th in the GC, then went home to his wife and two kids, and now he's not even alive anymore.

Are there no pools in FIVB events anymore or is their website just really messed up now that they changed it? I can't find pool standings anywhere, including the 'pool standings' tab. The first match is scheduled to be played in Amsterdam on 4 May, but the mayor of Amsterdam already said this week that he won't let Ajax play at home on that day because it's the national 'Death Remembrance Day'. There are basically two possible solutions: - UEFA changes the order and let's the first match be played in Lyon, which would be unfair because then you're giving Ajax the advantage of playing at home in the 2nd match - UEFA changes the date and let's the match be played on 3 March
