One of the more annoying things of the Olympics: not having the usual commentators. I really miss FIL's commentator, who actually has some nice background info usually, instead of this one on the Player who just says "it's his Xth Olympics, he's in the green, in the red now".

He didn't have to, but you know, uptight people might otherwise make a problem out of a normal word being used

Wow, luge training live on Eurosport (Player). The area around the track looks rather...'meh'....it has the feel of the outside of some mediocre city instead of the nice scenery of the mountains. Rather sad.

Basically saying he deserves it more ("Because in 2010 I was the first American to defend the 1000m speed skating gold", like being the first of nation X to defend a medal in random event Y in itself is so meaningful), and even throwing in the #BlackHistoryMonth2018 hashtag, suggesting racism in all of this. Davis goes from one of the most awesome athletes to a really, really sore 'loser' (loser as in, missing out on carrying the flag).
