  1. week full of events... let's start with the most relevant to me, the amazing 3rd World Title in a row for the best crew in Sailing in the last 5 years at least Mixed Nacra 17 2024 World Championships ( La Grande Motte) Gold: Ruggero Tita & Caterina Banti Silver: John Gimson & Anna Burnet Bronze: Gianluigi Ugolini & Maria Giubilei Full Results & Ranking https://manage2sail.com/lv-LV/event/ee603c9d-d15c-4cee-996b-3ac1c801ad60#!/results?classId=1f5f3caa-efc2-432c-9998-937ddfd12165
  2. weightlifting is really lucky to be still included in the Olympic program with all the scandals (doping, administrative crimes and much more) they've been part of, having still 5 weight classes for both men and women (and 3 lifter per gender also to Nations that have been caught with their hands in the marmelade of doping more than once) is a blessing and looking at what's happening these days, also with this new leaders, nothing has changed...it's only a question of "when", not "if" weightlifting will be scratched by the IOC
  3. the problem is that here nobody is interested in wrestling, there are no important politicians rather than media ready to ride the wave of a protest against UWW and our relationship with IOC at the moment is not as good as it was in the past: all the troubles and contrasts around the organization of the 2026 Winter Games won't make a favor to our cause right now
  4. women's Team Recurve Gold: France Silver: Netherlands Bronze: Germany men's Team Recurve Gold: France Silver: Italy Bronze: Turkiye
  5. 2024 Karate European Championships ( Zadar) Team Events Medallists (Part II) Women's Team Kata Gold: Spain Silver: Italy Bronze #1: Turkiye Bronze #2: France Men's Team Kata Gold: Turkiye Silver: Spain Bronze #1: Italy Bronze #2: Azerbaijan Men's Team Kumite Gold: Italy finally! a gold medal for us Silver: Greece Bronze #1: France Bronze #2: Ukraine Final Medal Table 3 / 0 / 7 3 / 0 / 2 3 / 0 / 1 2 / 1 / 2 1 / 5 / 3 1 / 3 / 2 1 / 0 / 6 1 / 0 / 0 1 / 0 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 1 / 0 0 / 0 / 3 0 / 0 / 2 0 / 0 / 1 0 / 0 / 1 0 / 0 / 1 0 / 0 / 1
  6. trimetazidine is also the medicine that should have led to DQ the whole Chinese swimming team before Tokyo
  7. c'mon! she's already on another planet than Liuzzi she did show that she can manage and play even with most of the top wrestlers in the world Liuzzi is a joke, doesn't even have any idea of what she has to do on the mat...Today she came to this match only because of the draw
  8. you mean the 5th or 6th (the last one that was sanctioned, but there were others before) I don't know why she did those mistakes...I mean, she was clearly stronger, she didn't need to play those dirty tricks (especially vs an Italian, when everybody knew that we're in some big debt with UWW)
  9. Bulgarian TV BNT 3 (with a BUL VPN, of course) or somewhere on VK, I guess also here, with Turkish VPN https://www.trtspor.com.tr/canli-yayin-izle/trt-spor-yildiz/
  10. this is a joke! I mean, Hrushyna made multiple capital mistakes, but winning a quota like this is just a joke after all that happened with Chamizo... however, I told you that Russo had at least the chance to play an even match with the girl from she defended well all the time and her resilience was rewarded by the dumb mistakes from Hrushyna if only she could put some muscles on and find a true, great coach...
  11. however, in the next future I should listen to some of my friends and follow padel and breakdance rather than any other sport that's going to be disappointing and frustrating as hell
  12. because judo is mainly about technical skills (and we have some great coaches that can help our athletes transitioning from the youth to the senior ranks) wrestling is a totally different beast (just the weight management is not in the heart of our youngsters and their families, let out when it comes down to the proper preparation, the building of a good wrestler)
  13. a lucky draw, rather however, don't underestimate Aurora Russo...she's talented, very talented (maybe still too unexperienced at this level, but the real problem is that we don't have any good coach that could help to develop her wrestling and improve up to becoming a consistent global medal candidate)
