  1. yeah, I saw some highlights from Friday and Yesterday (not yet Today, I'm too busy with Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Short Track Speedskating, American Football and Fencing ). these events are always nice...
  2. yeah, but with the new qualification rules for Paris 2024, the World Cup isn't really so competitive as it was before. many big names are missing and also those who are in Rabat, they're not in very good shape yet (it's so early in the season). everything was definitely more interesting when direct Olympic Quota Places were up for grabs in any WC stage. p.s. Mehelba however looks in great shape...hope he can keep it through the whole season...

  4. yeah... but my first one was really easy, too... so, the new one is going to be a little more complicated (for the majority of the Totallympians, but not for all of them).
  5. by the way, that's easy... Kevin Meyer's World Decathlon Record
  6. just my 2 cents... we should try to make the new number to be guessed a bit more evident (bigger size of the font, maybe even in bold). it's my proposal from now on for all those who are going to post their "challenge".
  7. after Day #2, in the men's Skeet (70 starters), Azmy Mehelba is leading the pack with a clean 100/100, ahead of Nikolaos Mavrommatis with 99/100. 4 more shooters follow with 98/100 and 10 shooters scored 97/100. in the women's Skeet (35 starters), Reem Al Sharshani is the new leader with 96/100, followed by a small group of 5 shooters with a score of 95/100.
  8. Pietro Sighel is a great talent, but he definitely has to calm down and learn how to run the prelims... today he literally threw away an easy medal in the 1500m because of a kamikaze move in the semis, which cost him a DSQ and a Yellow Card. among the women, good bronze by Arianna Valcepina in the 500m. rest of the team...meh!

  10. we gave the same answer basically at the same time...
  11. women's Hour Record in Track Cycling?
  12. c'mon! you almost got a medal "only" 11 years ago... think of me (us)...Italy have never even got close to qualify for the Olympics...
  13. not going to guess the score, but my picks are: 49ers, Giants, Cowboys in the NFC and Chargers, Bills and Bengals in the AFC not sure we're going to see many close games...there's a high risk of quite a few blowouts...

  16. OK, going for an easy one (keeping the tough ones for the next times, if I ever get to guess another one)... 894
  17. now, should I go for an easy, complicated, controversial or almost impossible one?
  18. tbh, it's just a very lucky guess...I remember I saw a TV reportage when that record was established. and I'm still confused...why someone should do such kind of crazy effort? I'm still asking myself...
  19. I know this one! it was done in Italy just a few months ago... a damn crazy man from did run almost 320 kms in 24 hours
  20. first to start, the Skeet competitions (both, men and women). after Day #1, in the men's Skeet there are 4 guys sharing the lead with a clean 50/50 ( Azmy Mehelba, Efthimios Mitas, Jorgen Engen, Nikolaos Mavrommatis). 7 more shooters follow with 49/50 and then, 10 shooters scored 48/50. in total, there are 70 competitors. in the women's Skeet, Zhoya Kravchenko and Dania Jo Vizzi share the lead with 49/50. Adel Sadakbayeva is alone in 3rd place with 48/50. 3 more shooters follow with 47/50 and 5 have a score of 46/50. in total, there are 35 competitors (+ 1 DNS, I don't know why?).
  21. just into the new year, it's already time for the 1st World Cup stage of 2023. in this case, it's up to the Shotgun specialists in Rabat.
  22. definitely, yes. well, are no longer as good as they were a few years ago. not sure were favourites over (especially because of the heavy absence of Khaled), but if this is to be considered an upset, it's just a mild one.
  23. damn, you just beat me by a few minutes
