  1. just another sport losing big part of theur (already small) audience. time to cut them off the Olympic program (it should be the automatic punishment for those who leave the free comfortable streaming platforms for obscure and/or paid services). my beloved Judo is another sport that needs a big slap in their face because of their choices about the media coverage
  2. if it's State organized doping, there are no clean athletes at all. especially in a Country like Russia, there are no athletes that can say "no" to the officials and coaches telling them "take this & that" to improve your performance. and Belarus have also a lot of troubles in that field, too...don't forget the whole canoeing team DQ from Rio 2016 because they were caught while collectively using banned substances (meldonium, but not only). not to mention the weightlifting team, basically caught in full in the past few years.
  3. they wrote a note about the track not being in condition to host the very much anticipated race. I don't know what they mean, if there's not enough snow or there's a high risk of avalanche in that area
  4. Friday's Individual races have already been cancelled because of snow conditions.
  5. Stage #4 ( Morgins) Men's Vertical Race (NOT an Olympic event) Gold: Remi Bonnet Silver: Maximilien Drion Du Chapois Bronze: Werner Marti
  6. Stage #4 ( Morgins) Women's Vertical Race (NOT an Olympic event) Gold: Axelle Gachet-Mollaret Silver: Sarah Dreier Bronze: Giulia Murada
  7. some of them are very intelligible (and I like them), some others are just incomprehensible (and I don't like them, despite the effort of the designers). my top picks are Archery, Badminton, Basketball, Track Cycling, Fencing and Rowing. I also appreciate Boxing, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Tennis and Weightlifting. anything else is from meh! to WTF is that?
  8. I don't think he has a World Champs medal, yet 🤔 surely he was the first on the podium of a world cup race in that age group.
  9. earlier this morning, ACL in training for Lara Colturi. Most likely, knee surgery and a long break from skiing coming for her.
  10. 2/10 of a second actually... just fixed the correct result.

  17. not exactly about the sport part of the discipline, but still... Stefano Ghisolfi has opened the way named Excalibur, in Drena (Italian region of Trentino), the one and only 9b+ class route in Italy, the most difficult in our Country. https://www.oasport.it/2023/02/arrampicata-stefano-ghisolfi-libera-excalibur-via-di-grado-9b/?refresh_ce
  18. not really surprised... I think most people ready to begin the season in the USA don't want to spend a while thousends miles away to play the WBC. if we were playing in a US-based group, most likely we would have a much more competitive team. still, I hope to be able to watch some good, exciting baseball instead of that thing named Spring Training.
  19. Official Starting List https://live.fis-ski.com/lv-al0071.htm?t=1675716136#/follow
  20. actually, it was his new team that forced him to withdraw because of his elbow operation last year. they want him to be at the Spring training rather than playing competitive matches at WBC. p.s. I like him, I'm a true fan of plastic man
  21. Jordan Romano pulled out of the Italian team for the WBC traitor!!! wish him a Tommy John in the next few weeks

  23. I think this is only the beginning...the list is going to be enlarged quite soon. yeah, we'll see how it develops. however, first the IJF lifting any kind of ban against & , then this one... if I were Ukranian, I wouldn't have a good feeling right now...
