  1. What an incredibly strong keirin race. Never seen such big difference before. It is dangerous that he is already so good. Can he do it again in 7 months?
  2. That characterizes the true fan. But don't be afraid: Greece will keep the quota.
  3. Hahaha, all Dutch fans are still partying here in Eindhoven. Wonderful tournament for our girls with a great finish. Next month the WCh in Doha starts, not really looking forward to it. Too much tournaments in a short period.
  4. Very disappointing tournament for The Netherlands. We are a good team again with some very talented young players, but the crucial match against Romania was a disaster (8-12). I didn't see that result coming. Our boys will build to LA 2028. Congrats to the WC qualifiers!
  5. Why? In the last ten years only once (2019). I live near Apeldoorn, and very happy there is a big tournament again after all these years.
  6. I thought the city of Eindhoven wanted to host the TQO, but maybe something went wrong there.
  7. Why Torrevieja??? I should say the highest teams from WCh can choose where the TQO take place. No TQO in The Netherlands, I'm very very sad.

  9. I would say instead of . Hopefully will organize OQT2. I can't wait to cheer for our team from the stands.
  10. OQT1 - OQT2 - OQT3 - OQT2 is the same poule as poule IV at this World Championship (only Ukraine and Brazil missing).
  11. Thanks. They've changed the schedule then.
  12. Wins for and in the 5-8 place-matches, so they'll play for the 5th place. But no one knows for which OQT they play. and decide - after the 5-6 place match - together which OQT will be the easier one.
  13. Netherlands for sure want to play in OQT2. Don't forget has one of the best players in the world (Ana Gros) and is simply a very underestimated team (they always draw France and Norway in the early stages, like this year). The match for places 7 and 8 is played after the match for places 5 and 6. So if there is a loss somewhere on purpose, it is in the match for places 7 and 8.
  14. Lucky Hungary, but still deserved. The past years I really enjoyed watching the Hungarian players. Like last month, when I watched their friendly match against The Netherlands live in the stadium. And for you as a fan @Vektor really nice too. I remember all your amazement, anger and disappointment about the Hungarian women's team over the years on this forum. Then it's nice to get a great chance at the Games. Hopefully they make it in the end!
  15. No entry list. But the two stars of Dutch swimming, Marrit Steenbergen (freestyle) and Arno Kamminga (breaststrkoke) won't compete, unfortunately.
  16. Hopefully you're right and Belgium and Netherlands have a fair chance to win group A.
  17. UEFA gets what it wants. England and the Netherlands will fight it out on goal difference to see who will go to the semi-finals of the Nations League and therefore have a chance of going to the Olympic Games. England plays against Scotland, and Scottish players have an interest in the biggest possible defeat, so that they can go to the Games on behalf of Great Britain. It is incomprehensible that England and Scotland are in the same group: the competition is rigged and the Netherlands has no chance in advance.
  18. My five events: Men's double sculls rowing Women's 200 breaststroke swimming Men's teamsprint track cycling Mixed 4x400 athletics B-boys breaking Women's time trial cycling
  19. Qualification: women's volleyball team Medals: swimming, Marrit Steenbergen in the 200 medley or 100 free
  20. No you're not. It is the most boring sport of all. I will watch almost everything, but especially hockey, handball, waterpolo, (beach)volleybal, judo, rowing and track cycling. And no golf and B-boys.
  21. Shorttrack speedskating - Kim Boutin Tennis - Stan Wawrinka Tennis - Aryna Sabalenka Athletics - Miltiadis Tentoglou Athletics - Natalia Kaczmarek Road cycling - Wout van Aert Gymnastics - Rebeca Andrade Judo - Lukas Krpalek Speedskating - Isabelle Weidemann
  22. The Dutch teams finish 5th. How much points for the Olympic ranking do they get for their 5th places? And how many points for 9tjh place? I can't find the points table.
  23. I suppose the road race and the omnium are a "kind of" safe gold for Kopecky. And Evenepoel a safe one in the time trial. I agree that all other names are just an opportunity, so maybe my prediction of 10 golds is a little exaggerated.
  24. Don't forget the women's field hockeyteam. After Netherlands the best in the world in my opinion. And the Belgian women's basketball team has a good chance to medal as well. But the best chances for gold are Kopecky (3x), Evenepoel and Van Aert (2x), Casse and Thiam. But I won't be surprised if they get 10 gold medals.
