  1. So, you conveniently discontinued Netherlands Antilles right after Churandy appeared, did I get it right?
  2. Did you chear for Netherlands Antilles when they still existed?
  3. I already thought it was gold for Jamaica (But Netherlands Anitilles pipped them )
  4. What a nice gold for Zigismunds Sirmais.
  5. Another one of those "big events expert".
  6. New public disclosures of doping from 2008 Olympic weightlifting tournament. Including medalists Ozkan (TUR) and Martirosyan (ARM) http://www.iwf.net/2016/07/07/public-disclosures-3/
  7. I just took a look at Moldova NOC webiste.
  8. Looks like Moldova decided to send the same athlete in C1 and C2, and that's why Slovakia received this one. So technically they didn't reject it. C1 is the best medal chance for Moldova in Rio. Anyway, this invitation most definitely means that Romania won't get its quota back.
  9. Quota for @hckosice and Slovakia What a great race for Kucera. Also quota for Norway's Warholm.
  10. Looks like Bolivia received wild card for men's road race.
  11. Wow, 5.40 in pole vault for Thomas van der Plaetsen! Meanwhile, Urena broke his pole vault PB by 20cm after getting "NM" in discus...
  12. It happened with Qatar and Malawi in 2012, so I guess FINA is keeping an open mind.
  13. Sara Kolak in javelin final with 3rd best qualifying mark.
  14. Well, that is weird and dissapointing. I thought that IAAF was supposed to allow everyone to enter one male and one female athlete...
  15. I don't think that South Korea accepts OST, but we'll see.
  16. And still... Triple jump competition has been stopped for over 30 minutes!
  17. Looks like triple jump run-up is broken.
  18. You get to keep 200+ athletes on the positive side.
  19. Added judo. 52/101 tripartite nations have wild cards so far.
  20. It really helped them.
  21. Doesn't say. But he probably regrets it.
  22. Thanks @FC Mezhgorye, we missed the most obvious source I guess! So these are the wild cards. Men's -60kg - Men's -66kg - Men's -73kg - Men's -81kg - Men's -90kg - Men's -100kg - Women's -52kg - Women's -63kg - Some very random choices I have to say! South Africa officially declined continental quota in men's -66kg (which went to ). Looks like Palau withdrew too (I think that quota went to Italy in -48kg).
  23. Hopefully with more luck this time. Back in 1988 one of their boxers was "disqualified for being a pound overweight due to having a breakfast before the weigh-in".
  24. Croatian Olympic Committee confirmed today that Mario Todorović got invited in men's 50m free. I think he was third on the list, behind Suriname and Hong Kong.
