So even now, World Archery aren't in a position to confirm which teams will qualify for Paris - maybe nobody could find the wi-fi code so that they could check the qualification document online. 
 

As much as this team is a disaster, it's not the girls' fault.
 
Unfortunately Brazil is a country that only likes to win. They will only have great support here like the men's team when they start winning, that's the reality. Should it be the opposite? Maybe, but that's not how it works.
 
The media doesn't help either, comparisons between the women's and men's national teams are all too frequent. No one wants to hear that "Marta is better than Pele" or "The women's team would win 5-0 against the men if the two played against each other".

Also, mixed feelings. On one hand I had hoped for a good result for Brazil, especially for Bruna and her being annoyed with the thousands of morons on Brazilian social media talking shit about the women's team and how only the men's team matters (you know, those guys like Neymar who spend more time acting than playing and get paid millions and millions), but on the other hand, surprises and stuff like that are what make sports great and so Jamaica qualifying is absolutely amazing  

Yeah, there were happy ! The girls will gain a lot of much needed experience during next the VNL next year before the home olympics
 
The french volleyball federation and the coach Emile Rousseaux  have done a great job with this team. 5 years ago, they wera ranked 50th in the world. We always had some good female volleyball players, but no one cared, there was no project whatsoever and zero investissment. Everything change with Paris being the host of the 2024 olympics.

Eu não estou confiante de que vamos ganhar medalha em algum esporte novo. Mas como tá virando tradição sempre ter a novidade da edição eu fico entre canoagem slalom e triatlo.

Ginástica Artística - Eu acho que o @thiago_simoes é a melhor pessoa para comentar aqui, não sei como a Rebeca vai chegar em Paris, ou se as adversárias estarão no mesmo nível. Mas, acredito que a Rebeca conseguirá, no mínimo, repetir a performance dela de Tóquio. Diria que ela pode conseguir até mais, o que contribuiria para o aumento do número de medalhas +1
 
Surfe - Acho que o Brasil tem boas chances de repetir o ouro do Japão. Espero que o Medina consiga pegar a segunda vaga do Brasil, e que possamos ter o terceiro atleta também. =
 
Vela - Parece que a Martine e a Kahena terão dificuldades para conquistar a terceira medalha de ouro seguida, uma dupla holandesa está se destacando, mas a chance de medalha continua grande! =
 
Maratona Aquática - Acredito que a Ana está na mesma situação citada da Vela! Espero que ela surpreenda e venha buscar o bicampeonato olímpico =
 
Futebol - Dificil dizer aqui, a seleção masculina não está nem classificada, mas se conseguir acho que pode brigar novamente! Pensar num tricampeonato, em um esporte é sempre difícil. De qualquer forma, estou confiante com a seleção feminina, e acho que uma medalha é possível. =
 
Canoagem Velocidade - Faz tempo que não vejo comentários sobre o Isaquias. Não sei em que nível ele está, mas acredito que ele não terá uma queda muito grande, e continuará brigando. =
 
Boxe - Totalmente imprevisível! Acho que só a Bia como uma boa chance de conquistar o ouro. No total, foram três medalhas. Não sei se o Brasil conseguirá repetir isso, apostaria em duas no momento. -1
 
Tênis - A medalha mais surpreendente de Tóquio, com certeza, foi a da dupla feminina. E, sinceramente, não vejo ela se repetindo agora! Mas, agora a Bia parece estar num bom momento, e ela já demonstrou o talento no saibro. -1
 
Judô - Duas medalhas de bronze foi muito pouco para o histórico do Brasil. Acho que vamos brigar um pouco mais dessa vez. +1
 
Skate - Três medalhas em Tóquio, e não vejo mudanças. =
 
Vôlei - Vendo a performance das nossas seleções na VNL, não diria que uma medalha irá acontecer -1

Natação - A mesma coisa, vendo a performance brasileira no mundial, não me dá muita esperança de bons resultados. Acho que apenas o Guilherme Costa pode conseguir. -1
 
Atletismo - Alison continua sendo a melhor chance, mas não acho que o Thiago Braz irá conseguir a sua terceira medalha. Ainda assim, acredito que uma outra medalha possa surgir. =
 
Pelas minhas contas, o Brasil ganharia 19 medalhas, duas a menos do que em Tóquio. Para chegar nas 26 projetadas, precisariamos surpreender naqueles esportes em que medalhamos anteriormente, ou conquistar em novas modalidades. O que vocês acham, em quem vocês apostariam para completas a projeção feita?

Currently predicting a women's Beach volleyball medal and that's it (in Tokyo we also won only 1 Volleyball medal which was a huge decrease from previous editions)

They gave the morning off work so we could watch this. Hopefully wins...

Poland playing without their top three players (Leon, Kurek and Bieniek) and still managed to win. It's very difficult to beat a team with such a good squad, even more so with fans like that.

Kaczmarek with the match of his life, as he leads  to a 3-1 (25-23, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18) victory over  in the gold medal match. 
 
First gold for Poland at a VNL!

I think I overestimated Italy too much. 
 
Japan 

Defeat was expected, so whatever. But I don't see Poland beating Italy if they play like today.

I think all of them gonna win medals in Paris, there are many others among The favourites but these ones are a level above The rest in my opinion.

France needs a better opposite than Boyer. 

The only volleyball team I don't like is France in the men's.
 
Turkey's problem is more the rivalry and the insufferable fans who will give us hell for this title. And as I said earlier, I'm not a big fan of Turkey's psychologically aggressive game either.

Well, in the end, the best team won. Congratulations to Turkey!! 
 
I'm not a big fan but it's amazing what Santareli has done with this team in such a short time, he is easily the best coach in the world. 

Ze Roberto was disappointing as a coach in this game against China.

On paper an excellent team, but that has shown some clear deficiencies that were not expected. First, our block is not being as effective as last year, despite having two excellent MBs (perhaps the best pair of teams in this final round). We still don't have a regular opposite, and our most regular opposite is good at blocking, serving, defending, but the attack is very weak and we can already see that Gabi cannot lead a team in attack, no matter how spectacular she is and the other OH is whatever. Well, and lastly, our service is awful, with the exceptions of Kisy and maybe Thaisa.
 
Ze Roberto is a genius in this sport, and I have no doubt that he could find all the answers to these problems in the game against China. I also don't think the Chinese are clear favorites like the vinipereira thinks, but the team needs to improve.
