34.92 for Pedro Causil in the B division in SLC, meaning history: the first South American ever to get under the all-important 35-second barrier

She would need to finish relatively close to them. I would go for the "easier" field

Probably the person who got the most points at the annual ISU Gala Skee-Ball tournament or something, judging by how logical the mass start format is.

Another successful day for Project Bogota (except for the Mexican skier).

    270 for Pita today.

I am sure the IOC won't block his participation if he qualifies, after all Jordan didn't even have a FIS NF until recently.

Also for the 2017 Asian Winter Games Jordan only registered way after the deadline (approx.2 weeks before the games started) and the OC allowed both of them to compete.

Group B is the hardest group imo, three top teams in it, plus Netherlands which is by far the strongest team in pot 6.

Hopefully this helps boost Canada's performance on the world stage, after all the canoe discipline is named after the country

Hello, i came from France, near Paris. I Watch my first olympics on TV at Albertville 1992. I never miss any olympics on TV since Albertville. I follow your website since a few years and i have decided to register. For me, olympics is not a sample event, it's the event of all sports and this is why i like the olympics.

Looks like South American nations are moving their roller sports athletes to speed skating. Colombia, Chile and now Argentina. I know there are a couple Brazilians as well but not sure if they are from a roller speed skating bg.

Victoria Rodriguez broke Argentina's NR in the 500m (39.80), that time would put her as reserve 3 for Olympic qualification, but she needs to get that time at one of the two world cups. The current cut of right now is 39.53.

Could be good news for the athlete from Ghana, too. As it stands he's over 100th, and needs to be in the top 60.

UPDATE: This is the Men's Skeleton Ranking List, but I've included only the top 3 athletes from each nation. Not sure if they would all count or if only the top 3 athletes from the top 2 NOCs would count, but this is the worst-case scenario for the Ghanian, and he still makes it (though only just) in the top 60. Since there are no other Africans- he just needs to hold his position and he's made it.
