  1. She went an in season 2:06.81 in LCM (not the same, but McIntosh is also good at SCM..) back in December, and that’s despite rarely racing it, so I definitely knew she had what it takes. Honestly, with how good McIntosh is I thought she might beat Regan, but I’m still happy with the silver.
  2. Canadian women’s ski jumping on a downwards trend after a brilliant last two seasons, sucks to see…
  3. It’s on the ISMF YouTube channel
  4. It’s Harrop, not Larrop. And no, she has no connection to Great Britain…

  10. Men’s 5000m relay fails to advance to the A final
  11. Gold for our women’s 3000m relay at the ISU Seoul WC!
  12. Gold and silver for Steven Dubois and Jordan Pierre-Gilles in the men’s 500m at the ISU Seoul WC!
  13. Danae Blais wins silver in the women’s 1000m at the ISU Seoul WC! Worth noting, that the winner Gilli got a home-crowd ADV in the quarterfinals, so her win doesn’t really count in my books.
  14. William Dandjinou back on top as he wins gold at the ISU Seoul WC! Edit: Dubois who finished in 2nd got a PEN… no medal for him
  15. Sonjaa Schmidt and Liliane Gagnon finish 5th in women’s team sprint at the Davos WC!

  18. Ski Cross WC Val Thorens | Val Thorens, France Women Gold- India Sherret Silver- Daniela Maier Bronze- Marielle Thompson Not sure what’s happening with Naeslund, she didn’t even make the small final… again. 19. Ski Cross WC Val Thorens | Val Thorens, France Women Gold- Marielle Thompson Silver- Fanny Smith Bronze- Daniela Maier Participation seems to be a serious issue still, with only 21 women competing, and I would only consider 12 or 13 of those to be world class… (contender for big/small finals) Men Gold- Simone Deromedis Silver- Florian Wilmsmann Bronze- Kevin Drury Full Results
  20. Vancouver 2010 (I was 5 sure, but it was my first Olympics and I remember bits from it… plus that men’s hockey gold medal match with the Crosby OTG was an iconic one… I’ve watched at least 10 times since then) Tokyo 2020 (unpopular opinion, because I know it will be at the bottom of a lot of people’s lists with COVID limiting the crowds, but I liked the venues the most out of any recent summer Olympics by a decent amount) Paris 2024 (historic Olympics for Canada, 9 golds and 27 medals, and some all time moments, Mel/Brandie the main one) Pyeongchang 2018 (Our most successful Olympics with 11 golds and 29 total) Beijing 2022 (Big Air venue was quite possibly one of the worst looking Olympic venues in recent times, and even though we won 26 medals only 4 of them were gold, plus a lot of them we were lucky to win) Rio 2016 (great memories of watching Oleksiak’s gold, and both of DeGrasse’s battles against Bolt) Sochi 2014 (Dufour Lapointe’s and Jennifer Jones’s golds in moguls/curling are still some of my all time highlights to this day) London 2012 (honestly I can’t say I remember much besides Phelps… but we only won one gold medal so…)
