  4. I’ll for sure be watching, but does this really need it’s own thread? I’m sure at most 5-7 users on here will be watching it, and we can discuss it on the main NHL thread

For Canada, Parayko over Weegar is certainly a choice, and I would’ve put Thompson over Montembeault. For Sweden, no Eklund or Zetterlund? I believe Eklund has 23 points on the season in 27 games.
  6. Czech Republic with a win in snowboarding? Huh???
  7. Oh right, completely forgot
  8. Another week of sports. NHL, NBA, NFL, Vakifbank Volleyball, Short Course Swimming Worlds, ISU Short Track WC Beijing, FIS Moguls WC Idre Fjall, FIS Freestyle/Snowboard WC Secret Garden, Luge WC Innsbruck, Bobsleigh WC Altenberg, Doha BPT Finals, FIS Alpine Skiing Beaver Creek/Mont Tremblant, UCI Champions League London
  9. Team Homan win their 2nd Slam in a row at the GSOC Kioti National, defeating Hasselborg 7-6 in the final!
  10. Sighel being the male athlete of the games for Italy is also wishful thinking with how dominant the Canadian men are at the moment Nothing Fontana has shown either that would prove she could be among the women to watch in long track speed skating.
  11. GSOC Kioti National | Saint Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada Men 1. Team Mouat 2. Team Jacobs 3. Team McEwen 3. Team Whyte Team Mouat have now won the first 3 slams to start the season, and keep their hope for a Grand Slam alive. They’d be the first team to ever achieve that feat. Women 1. Team Homan 2. Team Hasselborg 3. Team Kim 3. Team Einarson Team Homan were 5-2 down entering the 6th end and somehow managed to find a way to win. Now 40-2 on the season, including 5 titles, and are 107-9 in their last 116 games. Incredible consistency. Full Results
  12. What about in an Olympic discipline?
  13. Two of my favourite teams playing in the women’s final, rooting for Homan but mainly hoping for a great game

Had to double check, because that statistic didn’t seem right at first. Full Results

  21. Bronze for Dylan Deschamps in men’s big air at the Beijing WC. Honestly not quite sure how to feel about it… Harrington had a higher combined score than him and tied for the lead at 183.00 and yet somehow finished in 4th?
  22. 91.75 + 92.25 is 183.00, is it not?? Harrington should be tied for the lead alongside Frostad, and not 4th? WTF, I’m so confused…
