  1. Time for the bronze medal match between and
  2. Heather Abadie records a best mark of 4.36m at the 44 Farms Team Invitational!
  3. Canada defeat Brazil on penalties (1-1, 4-2) and are through to the She Believes Cup final! Solid win heading into the Olympics this summer. Up next, an encounter with our long time rivals the United States on Tuesday, for the title.
  4. Quota for Mariana Pistoia in women’s foil
  5. Nicholas Zhang qualifies for Paris in men’s epee fencing through the Pan American Olympic Qualifier! Down 12-14 with only seven seconds left (albeit kind of controversial point at 14-14) and he comes back to win the match! With this result, we’ve guaranteed at least one athlete in each of the three weapons (epee, foil, sabre)
  6. This wasn’t meant to be a jinx lmao, Zhang was down and out of it and I thought he had no chance. Guess I have to start doing this during every single Olympic qualification event now
  7. Well I have to say I wasn’t expecting that comeback Nicolas Zhang was down 12-14 with seven seconds left but somehow managed to win it in overtime (slightly controversial point for Zhang at 14-14 but whatever)
  8. What a horrible start No words…
  9. Day 1 Finals (battling for 1 OQP) Men’s Epee Nicolas Zhang v. Alexandre Camargo Women’s Foil Mariana Pistoia v. Isis Gimenez Men’s Sabre Rafael Western Reyes v. Gibran Zea

  11. Day 1 Semifinals Men’s Epee Pablo Nunez v. Nicolas Zhang Alexandre Camargo v. Jonas Hansen Women’s Foil Mariana Pistoia v. Tatiana Prieto Isis Gimenez v. Alely Hernandez Men’s Sabre Elecier Romero v. Rafael Western Reyes Gibran Zea v. Sebastian Cuellar
  12. Zhang was up 13-3 over Sauri and only managed to win 15-9 Need to be much better than that against Nunez.

  14. Yes I’d say so along with Dressel, Bukhov, McEvoy, and likely the American athlete that finishes second at the US Olympic Trials. Most likely option is Alexy, but there’s a fair few names that are in contention. Manaudou might be in the mix but I think he’s too “old” to be contending for gold, as I think it’ll probably take a time in the 21 lows. Medal is very much possible though. But in front of a home crowd he’ll be very motivated to perform at his best so who knows.
  15. Found a better streaming link @mrv86 All pistes are being live streamed on the David Blake YouTube channel. https://youtube.com/@prisedeferfencing?si=l7T2usPgDw2uXfsy
  16. 21.25 in the men’s 50m freestyle for Benjamin Proud at the British Olympic Trials
  17. New PB in the women’s 400m for Zoe Sherar at the Miramar Invitational! 51.63!
  18. Pretty wide open for the quota now IMO.
  19. I’m guessing you missed the graphic during the game?
  20. Can’t believe that I forgot about that, especially considering the fact that I watched their match against Gushue in the playoffs Thanks for the correction
  21. Georgia Lewin-Lafrance/Antonia Lewin-Lafrance with a 4th in women’s 49er FX at the Princess Sofia Regatta! Probably our best bet at a sailing Olympic medal at the moment. You could theoretically make a case for Douglas, but well she hasn’t been as consistent as the sisters despite performing better at the Paris Olympic Test Event. To see what I mean, let’s take a look at some of their notable results in 2023/2024. Sarah Douglas 5th at the 2023 Paris Olympics Test Event 23rd at the 2023 World Championships 26th at the 2024 World Championships 17th at the 2024 Princess Sofia Regatta Georgia/Antonia Lewis-Lafrance 20th at the 2023 Paris Olympics Test Event 10th at the 2023 European Championships (open entry) 10th at the 2023 World Championships 8th at the 2024 World Championships 4th at the 2024 Princess Sofia Regatta Cant seem to find results for the 2023 Princess Sofia Regatta however
  22. Semifinals Results 9 - 4 5 - 3 Bronze medal match between and at 10:00 CET, and gold medal match between and at 15:00 CET
  23. Edin does it again. A 6th World Championships final in the last 7 editions (8 years though, considering the 2020 edition was cancelled due to COVID), and is also going for a 5th title in that same time period. What an incredible run he’s been on. This was the final I wanted heading into the event as them and Team Gushue are my favourite teams in (men’s) curling, very very happy with the outcome. @maestro
  24. Team Gushue is going for gold, after a 9-4 win over Scotland! Gets their revenge on Team Mouat from last years World Championships final. We’ll take on Sweden/Italy (Sweden seems more likely) in the gold medal match tomorrow at 6:00 AM PST/9:00 AM EST.
  25. going for gold!! So happy for the recent resurgence in Canadian curling, hopefully it’ll translate to at least two medals and one gold at Milano-Cortina 2026.
