Adding  as Germans, Slovenians under  and Russians under  that makes a total of 17 nations on the podium. And only four of them after the second season ever (1980/81). That includes Josef Samek as Czech since the first Czechoslovakian podium ever was from a Slovak (Jan Tanczos) @hckošice

It's so strange to think that our best athlete is in our weakest category, but it is what it is. Probably only one Brazilian in the SFs competing at home. 
 
Qualifying 3 athletes for LA in the other 3 events shouldn't be a problem, but here it will be difficult and that would be disappointing, considering that the level of Women's Street worldwide is awful.

From a substainability standpoint it also really doesn’t make that much sense to axe Nordic combined as long as ski jumping is in the games anyway. For the same reason that all three sliding sports are basically a package that will live and die together.

Maryna Gąsienica-Daniel suffered ACL strain in the Soldeu Super G and has also ended her season.

Shiffrin will enter those last 2 Super G from reports so she should get ca. 40-50 pts extra from those.
