  1. Well Denmark didn't score again. 55 shots and 0 goals in the tournament so far. My hopes are not too high that we score against ...
  2. We have two couples on the podium. When does Hofer and Wierer start to date?
  3. With Shiffrin's 36th WC slalom victory, she surpasses Marlies Schild as the most winning female alpine skier in the slalom world cup.
  4. She has said this to a Danish media. - Basically, it has nothing to do with the fact that we could not reach agreement. I'm just too ambitious and goal-oriented. I would like to create the optimal development, but the leaders of NHV and I may not agree upon how we develop Dutch handball and that is fair enough. During the final round of the European Championship, her contract was a theme. - Of course I would like to continue, but there are also some things which one should have control over to continue. I also have some requirements for the NHV, where there are some places I would like them to step up. So we have to see that in January, Helle Thomsen said on December 9.
  5. It's Biathlon! What is more important than that? It seems they take it quite serious.
  6. This could also be a Couple Challenge for Domracheva/Bjorndalen. If one of them doesn't perform well here, who knows if they will still be a couple on Sunday?
  7. Ski jumper, Thea Kleven, has died at the young age of 17. The ski jumper Thea Kleven died on December 17. She was one of the jumpers on the "Project 2022" initiative towards the Beijing Olympics. The Ski Federation writes this in a press release: - The whole ski jumping family is in mourning after Thea's demise. Our thoughts are with the family in this difficult time. At the same time, it is important for me that we do everything we can to help jumpers on the team with support over their loss of a good team mate. Additional resources have been put in place to help the team in their grief. This has strongly influenced us all, and it has been toughest for all the female ski jumpers on the Norwegian national team. We will never forget Thea. She participated in our "Project-2022" and had a bright future in ski jumping. Thea had all the prerequisites for becoming a ski jumper of international format, and her participation in the World Cup testifies how great faith we had in her. Now I would like your all to respect that her family and her team mates get some peace in a holiday that has become very different for us than we expected, says ski jumping manager, Clas Brede Braaten. Furthermore, NSF writes: - There will be no further comments from managers, trainers or athletes in the Norwegian Ski Association, and we ask the medias to respect the family's desire to have peace of mind in this difficult time.

  10. Am I the only one who have the Italian version of Totallympics? I know I need to practice my Italian, but I didn't know @Sindo knew that? (Though Other Websites and Topic box are in English. )
  11. To motivate his players, the captain of the European Ryder Cup team, Thomas Bjorn, had promised them that he would get a tattoo if they beat USA. It ended with a Ryder cup victory for Team Europe, and here about three months later, Bjorn has kept his promise. He must really regret he made this promise.
  12. The day has finally come. This is probably the biggest day for many children in Denmark. Tonight they can finally open their Christmas presents. My Christmas is going to pretty relaxed this year with my mother, father and grandmother. Last year we had my cousins over for Christmas, which meant the highlight of the night was when Santa (which was me last year) came with their presents for them. This year "Santa" will enjoy his mother's delicious roasted duck with sugar-coated potatoes, red cabbage, chips and the star of tonight, the Christmas sauce. Merry Christmas, everyone!
