Jagerčíková získala pre Slovensko tretiu skialpinistickú miestenku na ZOH 2026 Z 36 skialpinistov a skialpinistiek, ktorí zažijú olympijskú premiéru tohto športu na ZOH 2026 v Miláne a Cortine d’Ampezzo, budú až traja Slováci. Na štart pretekov v Bormiu sa budú môcť postaviť Marianna Jagerčíková, Jakub Šiarnik a Rebeka Cully. Definitívu tomu dalo 4. miesto Marianny Jagerčíkovej v šprinte v pretekoch 1. kola Svetového pohára v americkom stredisku Solitude pri Salt Lake City. Jagerčíková so Šiarnikom si zabezpečili miestenku už v sobotu v miešaných tímoch. V nedeľňajšom šprinte potvrdila Jagerčíková príslušnosť k svetovej špičke a už postupom do šesťčlenného finále potvrdila 4. priečku v olympijskom kvalifikačnom rebríčku jednotlivkýň, ktorá znamená účasť na ZOH 2026. Definitívne to krátko pred Vianocami potvrdí Medzinárodná federácia skialpinizmu. Kvalifikačný kľúč na ZOH 2026 bol pre skialpinistov neúprosný. Na olympijskú premiéru sa mohlo dostať len 18 mužov a 18 žien. V miešaných tímoch rozdelili pre každé pohlavie po 12 miesteniek, na jednotlivcov ich zostalo len šesť. Prvé dve dostali najlepší dvaja a najlepšie dve na majstrovstvách sveta 2025, zvyšné štyri prví štyria a prvé štyri v olympijskom kvalifikačnom renkingu. V ňom pred Jagerčíkovou skončili zástupkyne Španielska, Talianska a Nemecka. Slovensko tak má nárok na dve ženské olympijské miestenky. Celkovo sa na ZOH 2026 predstavia v skialpinizme zástupcovia a zástupkyne zo 14 krajín. „Nemám slov. Marianna je skvelá a mám z toho veľkú radosť,“ zareagovala v príbehu na sociálnych sieťach Slovenskej skialpinistickej asociácie Rebeka Cully, ktorá vďaka majsterke sveta 2023 zaplní druhé slovenské miesto v súťaži žien. Napokon se događaja nešto u plivanju. Jest ovo sve mali bazen, ali veliki napredak. Hribar bi mogao do finala u LA, a u sprintu je onda sve moguće. I štafeta bi mogla se kvalificirati. Mogli bi u LA imati možda 6 plivača. kod žena osim Jane slabo. I ona ide u USA, vidjet ćemo kako će se prilagoditi i nadam se da je izabrala dobar College.
