  9. Of course, I'm a Wikimedia after all. The problem is that the cheapest cameras I can find here are US$ 800. In Mercado Libre I do see some US$ 300 cameras, but those don't come with the original box, so I don't trust the seller's 6-month warranty.
  10. No, I hate sea water (and the River Plate is much less salty than ocean water). I did compete nationally in high jump, but never got any close to qualify to the South American championship.
  11. I'm going to the games! It's my first time at a proper multi-sport event.
  12. Yes. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usuario:NaBUru38/Artículos_creados#Otros_deportes
  13. So 15 of the 32 world championship teams will be selected by the world ranking. That's awful. The 5 continental champions will qualify to the Olympics. That's good, but could be better.
  14. That's my case. I've created more Spanish Wikipedia articles than I can update regularly.

  22. Uefa and Concacaf had signed a partnership, but other than the FInalissima matches there's not much else actually happening.
  23. In rugby, the Teros 7s won the South American Sevens played at the Estadio Charrúa last weekend, and qualified directly to the Olympics. The team played very well except at the final match. They made a few mistakes, but Chile did even more. Murphy's law it seems. Fun fact: the previous two appearances on Uruguay in Olympic team sports (not counting doubles) were men's football in London 2012 and men's basketball in Los Ángeles 1984. Plus basque pelota in Barcelona 1992, which was a demonstration sport.
