Thank you for that. Wow, I didn't know. Will be interesting to see what happens with Greece. We have already qualified in the women's pair, and have big chances to qualify in the men's and women's single sculls, as well as the women's lightweight double sculls. Too bad that we can only pick one crew, but hopefully the others can qualify in May in Lucerne.

Anneta Kyridou would probably be chosen if she finishes first in the women's single sculls, as she won bronze at last year's European Championship as a 21 year old and also gold at the last two European U23 Championships and gold at the last World U23 Championships. However, she is currently involved in a highly publicized lawsuit against the federation so that might play a role and Stefanos Ntouskos could get chosen instead, which would also be a good choice.

It was mentioned in previous page from FISA document:

The Continental Qualification Regattas are open only to those NOCs that have qualified in only one event or have not qualified in any events at the 2019 World Rowing Championships.

Ok, thanks.

France can qualify 3 boats in Lucerne, I think they are building a quadruple scull (with Élodie Ravera-Scaramozzino, Marie Jacquet)

I think Greece is a safe bet to qualify a boat here.

Anneta Kyridou won bronze last year at the European Championships. She also won gold at the European U23 Championships in 2020 (and also in 2019).

Stefanos Ntouskos and Evangelia Anastasiadou/Zoi Fitsiou also have really good chances here. It's too bad that only one boat will be able to qualify from Varese in the end, but hopefully the other two can make it in Lucerne.

    • I'll post significant changes periodically. I'll start with the recently added/updated documents.   Archery The addition of mixed compound (12M & 12W) forced a reduction on the recurve side. The mixed compound quotas are distributed as follows   Host - 1 World Championships - 3 Continental Games - 5 World Ranking List - 2 Final Qualifier - 1   To compensate the team events will now only have 8 nations. 2 quotas were removed from the World Ranking List and 2 were removed from the Final Qualifier.   Individual recurve and mixed recurve distribution is the same
    • In Rome, it would be useful to roof the swimming pool complex at Foro Italico, possibly with the option of retracting the roof and covering the tennis court complex. Overall, there's a lot to do, for example, compared to Budapest, but unfortunately, this is Italy How many years has Roma been building their new stadium, and they keep pushing back the completion date- now I read it's 2030? and it should be ready. The same goes for Milan- there should be a modern complex of indoor swimming pools with 50 meters pools, etc., but there's a problem with one stupid football stadium, which will only be built after an ultimatum from UEFA

She wasn’t a top-tier athlete in that program anymore. She was at the end of her career. I would personally would rather race against Katie. She’s not as competitive as the other athletes,” he said. “It’s probably really unfair to say and not really where I want to go with this but that’s where we are with that.”   Uhlaender: “If I were Canada, I would be concerned in how this coach is representing the Olympic values for his country,” Uhlaender told Fox News Digital. “He hurt a whole field of athletes, all with dreams, and this sends the message that they don’t matter unless they are number one. All athletes matter, and we all deserve to compete fairly, with integrity, and respect. He did not respect anyone in that field. “This is not about my resume or how good the athletes were in the race. This is about the fact that he intentionally manipulated the competition to hurt myself and 13 other countries because he felt it necessary to eliminate all possibility. That is against the spirit of sport and not what the Olympic movement represents.”   Isn't it great when other people's dirty laundry is aired?  /sarcasm     (I was a little surprised to see NPR pick this up, but per this article, Uhlaender preemptively recorded the phone call after receiving a text from Cecchini that said he had 'bad news' for her.)
