That's not how the host quota gets reallocated

I dont understand who got :CZE quota reallocation from K1 1000, because :BLR is marked as host country representation

Oh, right, I thought Belarus was given CZE reallocation. So looks like Argentina should have qualified after all.

Yikes, they also didn't put NZL and DEN in the right category in Women's K1 500m, those are only boat quotas.

I think BLR in Men's K1 1000m has to get the CZE reallocation quota regardless of how the host quota works, because the "double up" reallocation supposed to happen before the host quota reallocation.

Anyway, Argentina is likely getting the quota, because the note says "relevant category", which I am assuming means that host quota works similarly to the 2016 system.

    • As a Habs fan, I'm sorry on a personal level that they're not going to Italy. But both Caufield and Hutson have been tearing it up since the roster was announced, and they are playing in front of Guerin twice to show him what he's missing. As a Canadian hockey fan, I'm also fine with these decisions. Never get in the way of your enemy making a mistake.

    • The Irish Luge Federation has gone to CAS    - The Irish Luge Federation (ILF) has filed an appeal against the International Luge Federation (FIL), challenging a FIL decision on 26 January 2026 concerning Luge athlete Ms Elsa Desmond (Ireland). The Appellant argues that the FIL unlawfully deprived the IFL of a qualifying place for the 2026 OWG by failing to allocate a remaining qualification place and unlawfully allocating qualification places to athletes granted Individual Neutral Athlete (AIN) status.   The ILF requests that CAS declare a failure to allocate them a qualifying place in violation of the FIL Qualification System. It also requests that CAS order the FIL to allocate a qualification place to the Olympic Federation of Ireland to enter an athlete into the women’s singles luge event for the 2026 OWG. - from a CAS press release
