Women's Field Hockey Qualification to Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games

Does that mean South Africa will use its continental quota or will they just miss the Olympic altogether?

Still haven't confirmed what they will do but if they don't accept the quota they are indeed out of the olympics and their place will be taken by the highest ranked loser of these play-offs.

Teams from pot 4 clearly will want to draw GB. The chance for an upset would still be little but with rubbish the british girls are playing lately it isn't impossible unlike with Australia or Germany.

As for the other pots, the ones from 3 will want to avoid Belgium.

Overall, I think the women's play-offs will be much more exciting than the men's.

My predictions:

Aus 99% - 1% Rus

Ger 95% - 5% Ita

GB 90% - 10% Chi

Esp 65% - 35% Kor

Irl 60% - 40% Can

Ind 65% - 35% Usa

Chn 45% - 55% Bel
