If you discount Nicole's score then Canada finishes with 84.07 points (seventh place). The disaster of a first qualifier from Lisa Ann Carlsen would count as Canada would only have a team of three athletes so no scores would be dropped. The only way to save Canada's quota would be to argue that Walker shouldn't be disqualified.

Yeah, poor Lisa Carlsen didn't have the greatest championship comeback (first since Seoul 1988). Her score was the one you get for elimination in speed competition (worst finishing score + 20 penalties).

Piggy French dropped a bomb today by announcing that Quarrycrest Echo, a real stalwart of British eventing team, has been sold to Japan.

 

Deadline for horse transfer is January 15th. Horses that change nationality after that will not be eligible to compete in Tokyo.

Umbach must be on a nice French payroll. He was already ridiculous in Madrid, and now again in Frankfurt.

Umbach can go screw himself, for all I care. 78% was absolutely ridiculous score for Ayache. Thank you for having a sense of justice Dr. Evi Eisenhardt. 67%. Cool.
