Looks like Trinidad and Tobago should quite easily qualify a girl for a road race. They never had a female cyclist at the Games. In fact, last time they competed in road events was in 1972.

Looks like Paraguay is a near lock for women's road race. That's really lovely, especially given that they are no longer a tripartite nation.

However, this quota was reduced because there are athletes on Top 100 from countries which aren't qualifying through Olympic Ranking. Yes, it is. But, I wouldn't bet in that.

 

The countries between 8th and 22th positions are lossing quotas at this moment. And, there are a few contenders from unqualified countries near Top 100.
