I think it's 50/50. Btw, when it's going to be decided?

I think they will say the final words about that at the IAAF general meet just before the World Champs in Doha, but no official announcement has been done even about when the final decision will be taken...

Women's 20km race walk

:ESP (1 athlete? I think it counts...)

it should, as National Championships are counted towards IAAF rankings (and hence as valid competitions for achieving minimum A)

I'm just asking because I already had Okada on my list, which I took from JoshMartini007's original list. I also have :RUS Kirill Frolov on my list already.

USATF has announced that only athletes who reached the standards may compete for an Olympic spot at the trials

    • pdr4332   Explain to me what this Ukraine thing is all about? Isn't this just another Orban tactic to focus on this before the elections, instead of discussing, for example, the fact that during the 16 years of VO's rule in Budapest, Hungary's GDP has fallen from the level of Poland/Czech Republic to below Romania's? Does anyone in Hungary still fall for this, because it seems like something like this happens every four years: Soros, Brussels, now Ukraine, and who will be next

    • I remember when Ferrari dominated inFormula 1 in the early 21st century, the rules were deliberately changed to limit their advantage. Something similar recently happened with Mercedes' dominance after 2020. And here we have a situation where Norway is favored, if the Finns are telling the truth and that's strange – should the richest federation get some extra advantage from FIS? It's certainly better for the popularity of a given discipline to have a more diverse nations on the front, than to have 3 Norwegians skiers at the front with the rest of the world 2 minutes behind. But maybe that will change, because Norway isn't as dominant in the women's competitions without Bjoergen and Johaug. I think the situation will change somewhat after Klaebo's career, even without Rus's return. Without Klaebo, Norway would not have won the entire gold medal here: in the sprint it would have been Ogden from the USA, and in the combined race: Frenchman Desloges.   Of course, the stars like Klaebo and Phelps build the popularity of a their disciplines, but it always takes some kind of great rivalry- a great rival- for people to really take an interest that. For example, in Beijing, Phelps won 8 gold medals, but in the 100 butterfly, there was fierce competition and controversy with battle against Milorad Cavic. In Klaebo's case, this hasn't been that`s case since Bolshunov's exclusion and that certainly has some impact on the overall situation.
