Iam not a fan of endurance , but how come u just cancell the competition after these horses passed all these miles to take part and they already passed many kilometres in the competition , so it was better to take opinions of teams survived rather than cancelling it all

But enough about endurance (AKA the worst organized global competition in post-1908 Olympics era...).

:DEN Cathrine Dufour & Cassidy sadly couldn't be in Tryon, but they are definitely in cheering mode. :d

It should be a real exciting battle between Denmark and Spain for the final Olympic spot. Spain currently has just over 2% lead, and I'd expect Bachmann to have an edge over Jurado (but not more than 1%). So it will all come down to Jager vs Castilla Ruiz probably, and that should be anyone's game.

Really sucks for Spain, as instead of going home with at least 3 endurance medals, they will be going home with nothing from this WEG...

Spanish delegation is fuming after all...

:CAN Colleen Loach opens the eventing competition with 34.40 penalties. Canada is the first to go just like in Rio, that's some rotten luck...

Meanwhile, awful dressage competition for :POR continues. Godinho well below his seasonal performances...

Shingo Hayashi completes the test with 20-year old Exquis Clearwater, a horse that competed all the way back at Beijing 2008. That is crazy.
