Any news regarding the Finn?

Finns are ashore, definitely no more racing today.

According to the on-water reporter, only medal race is left, meaning the quotas are confirmed. However, a moment before her statement they interviewed Caleb Paine who said he's looking for the two races tomorrow (but then again, he admitted that he doesn't even know his current ranking while being interviewed, so who knows...).

Nope, it's not over. Tomorrow's schedule is out and there will be 2 more Finn races, as well as 1 more 470 race. I fear it will be impossible to keep Finn quota, but at least it's a new day with hopefully more favorable conditions for our sailors...

Interestingly, no more women's 470 races are scheduled, even though only 7 have been held. Olympic quotas therefore go to :FRA:GBR:ESP:CHN:ITA:SUI:GRE:SLO. It's confirmed.

Quite strange reasoning with Finn. They planned to have 3 races today and nothing tomorrow, but at the end they have 2+2 because of today's poor conditions? Weird.

And here is the moment when on-water reporter said only medal race to go...

Seems like they were misinformed as 2 gold fleet races are scheduled for tomorrow in the finns and one in 470 men. Interestingly no races for 470 women.

The results page for the women's 470 seems to suggest there will be two medal races? I think it's a glitch, have we ever seen that before?

Must be a glitch, as besides the results at Aarhus site are often less accurate then those at SAP site.

In any case, the newly published schedule suggests no more fleet races for women's 470.

He debuted in Torino 2006 to close the circle in another Italian resort in 2026, by this he set the new Slovak Winter Olympic record of participation and tie the all time one with Erik Vlček competing at 6 games in Sprint Canoeing as well.   The remaining quartet (Pic 2) will debut at the Olympics, all still Juniors Christián Bosman & Bruno Mick in the M Doubles and still schoolgirls Viktória Praxová & Desana Špitzová in the olympic premiere of the W Doubles     Must also be said, that we were quite unlucky in this qualifiers periode, Marián Skupek missed the second M Singles quota by 1 point and ended first non-qualified athlete and the experienced pair Vaverčák/Zmij whoch was in clear qualifying position ended the season after Vaverčák broke his knee in the training in Sigulda 2 weeks ago   Also for the first time no W Singles participation for us meaning also obviously no participation in the Mixed Relay competition for the first time as well   Team (Updated as of 12th January 2026) 40 Athletes (30 M + 10 W)
