2754-OWG-2026-qualified-Teams-for-Team-event-1765354454-3134.pdf ISU confirmed the countries for the Olympic quotas for the team event. It confirms that Korea and Poland will field entries in 3/4 of the disciplines. Really stupid imo. Either just have the team event with 8 teams or give them the necessary quotas. Imagine running a 4x100m relay but you have to stop after the 3rd runner finishes. -
Three straight steals and it's 4-2 over at the break, China with hammer. A few misses by the back end of the Chinese team is all that's differentiated the two teams. -

Halfway through the - men's match. US has had 3 straight steals and leads 4-2 after 5 ends. Some bad luck by China, but otherwise they seem to be making more mistakes than the Americans -
After reading the qualification system document and assuming Argentina (M or W) takes a pro league quota, then: Case a: if USA wins pan american tournament and ARG finishes 2nd, then 3rd placed team doesn't take the continental quota. It's reallocated to world qualifiers. Case b: if ARG wins pan american tournament and USA finishes 2nd, then 3rd placed does take the quota. Did I understand correctly? Honestly don't know why FIH wanted a different criteria for these two cases. -
Maybe I am remembering from Tokyo, but distinctly remember team events having a minimum 3 continent rule -

I thought the only continental quotas applied in track cycling was for the individual events - the team events were purely based on the rankings list
