That's good news.  Now that they have an officially recognised state of their own, all the Palestinian refugees and asylum seekers in Spain, Ireland and Norway will finally be able to go home to their own country instead of living abroad.  I'm sure they will all be queuing up at the airport.

Not quite sure how that works. Are you suggesting you can't be a refugee from your own country, because there's a shitload of Ukrainians might want a word.

Wait a sec, wait a sec.  Up until now, every single Palestinian refugee in the world has claimed that they are refugees because they do NOT have their own State.  So now, instantly, the moment that the Palestinians DO get their own state, Palestinian refugees are going to claim that they are refugees from their own state because they don't like that Hamas and the PLO are running it?
