Today‘s the day when the French proudly celebrate the heroism of their ancestors who rose up against a repressive government.

And also the day where the wise and God-appointed government firmly cracks the heads of any worthless canaille & sans-culottes who refuse to obey their  masters.

Lol based on what you wrote one would expect an unelected government was doing something unreasonable.

We have our Hungarian Watergate now: https://www.theguardian.com/news/2021/jul/18/viktor-orban-using-nso-spyware-in-assault-on-media-data-suggests

This can actually be a pretty big scandal, even Snowden mentioned it. I am not sure if it will hurt Orbán's reelection chances, but it certainly won't help him. The opposition needed this to stay united against their "enemy".

A bit much the Guardian blaming the Hungarians for this. Where do they imagine all those stories they have been running about Donald Trump for the last five years come from? If not from the American security agencies spying on his communications with his lawyers etc etc.

The Americans haven't left Afghanistan yet and Talibans are making heavy gains. 20 years of war and things will return to pre-2001 reality in a matter of months. Kabul should fall sometime in 2022 unless the government completely caves in and strikes a deal with Taliban.

Neah, Law & Justice kicked out some satellite party members from the government but can still rely on support from the rock singer Kukiz & his buddies. So the Parliament majority is still there to upset out liberal opposition :p

Yes, I have seen that the Accord is losing several Members. It is a pity that the media law has passed to the Sejm, but will the government also have the votes in the Senate?
