Yeah, all the moderates and party officials consolidated under Biden in a last ditch effort to beat Sanders.

To this day I’m still a little confused as to what the plan was for Sanders to get over 50% of the delegates. There was this Twitter meme about how Sanders would be in trouble if he had to face off against the Voltron centrist candidate which was, in hindsight, an accidentally brilliant piece of punditry.

Edit: the most prescient political tweet of 2020

Biden, more than any candidate in any election I have ever followed, is running on the message of being the most vanilla politician imaginable.

Which is why his approval will plummet one Trump's gone like Obama's did after his first election. Obama had 60%+ approval after the election and went below 50% after the first year, had close to the same approval as Trump during the midterms, which gave a massive win for the GOP, the democrats lost the House and lost 6 seats in the Senate. Unless they find a solution to this recession quickly, they will lose power again in 2022, because Trump is just a symptom of the country's deep issues, not the cause.

Well. It's a pretty normal thing that the party of the president struggle in the midterm (except for Bush the president has lost in at least one chamber in every midterm election since 1934), that's the way the system is. But looking at the map for the 2022 senate elections nothing seems certain. There are some pretty good chances of flipping seats for both parties.

Hundreds of Idiots, you know those mainly far right supporters commonly calling themselves as Ultras Football ...ehm...cough, cough "fans"...decided suddenly to present their dissatisfaction with the current measures in the country and asking for resignation of the PM and bla bla etc...etc... you know the song

in front of the Governement office. in a unauthorized protest...

But apparently no one said them that on Saturday there no one in the office

so the Police had to show up in full force using water cannons, because the morons obviously can not protest normally and in surprise of nobody have to throw pyrotechnics through the gate and act like savages shouting insults about everybody who is not ..you know..."right"...

Two weeks till the election, so naturally Joe Biden is going to take a holiday.  Nothing to do with having to dodge awkward questions about his corrupt whore-mongering cokehead son, of course - he just wants to catch up with Emily in Paris on Netflix.

He’ll address the concerns about Hunter Biden when Trump releases his tax returns :p
