I edited Sweden, but then it is the right composition.

Niskanen not racing Classic, that is a huge shock. And Russians with Stepanova

Is it though? Sure, she is their best classic skier, but her freestyle is probably better than that of the other two, so overall it'd be smarter to let Niskanen do freestyle..

Kyllonen was in the Skiathlon the fastest Finnish freestyle skier compared to her classic time, so I was quite sure she will be on the third leg.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
