Really good result by Hennig, missing 3rd place by only 12 sec.

Also Katherine Sauerbrey deserves to be mentioned here. Her second TOP 15 results at the Olympics after having only a few World Cup starts. That is really great and means that Germany has a second good skier for the Classic part of the relay. If we only a had a second good Freestyle skier

It will probably be about hiding Fraebel/whoever on the second leg. In the end it will be the same as always for german cross-country skiing: "Außer Spesen nichts gewesen"

Yeah, Sweden will have Sundling and Dahlqvist and it's only 5 km (when it should be 7.5 really), so they probably have a better chance, than what i initially gave them. Norway is piss poor and Johaug can't do much in 5 km, so Germany does have a good shot to beat them.

You don't have to go back too far to find similar results. In 2010 two norwegians finished 41st and 42nd in men's 15 km freestyle and a norwegian also finished 49th in women's 10 km freestyle.
