Cross-Country Skiing at the Winter Olympic Games Beijing 2022

Men

Marko Skender (Sprint, 15 km classical, 50 km freestyle)

 

Women

Vedrana Malec (Sprint, 10 km classical, 30 km freestyle, Team sprint)

Tena Hadžić (Sprint, 10 km classical, Team sprint)

 

Interestingly we will be skipping the skiathlons. Not a bad idea to spare some effort.

 

The main events will be women's team sprint and women's 30k. Hopefully Top 20 and Top 40, respectively, will be attainable here.

For those interested, Argentinian Ceci Dominguez is throwing all of the Argentinian federation's dirt on the street on how they systematically tried to and succeeded in pushing her out, piece by piece.

The Norwegian men's cross-country skiers are all in quarantine after the head coach tested positive and the athletes are all considered close contacts. The departure to Beijing must be postponed to at least 31.01.

Am not saying she will join skiathlon on 5th. But that's not the date when Olympics finish. Bjervig obviously said that both might be out of the entire Games ...... Which I consider as a nonsense .....
