Olympian1010 7,971 Posted July 30, 2021 #89 Share Posted July 30, 2021 Pajon was very close to a third victory in a discipline where winning once can be quite the task. She’s quite the rider. Shriever raced that perfectly. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 15,135 Posted July 30, 2021 #90 Share Posted July 30, 2021 Emotional interview with Kimmann, he especially broke into tears for a moment when saying this was also for Van Gorkom (who is watching in the TV studio and clearly emotional, even though due to the brain issues that's a bit harder to see). Also, the interviewer wanted to keep the interview going during the women's final Kimmann: "Can we watch her final first?" Interviewer: "Don't worry I'll keep you updated", and keeps going Kimmann (thinking 'screw this'): "Give me 30 seconds" and turns around to watch Smulders win bronze Then a few more questions, followed by Kimmann: "Thanks, I'm going to call my parents now if you don't mind" Laraja 1 .
