Event 1 and it's a Dutch sweep  Oh boy..

Mostly Takagi kinda disappointed, the rest (apart from Sablikova, who for once maybe told the truth) is not really unexpected.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

It's Visser and van der Weijden for 5000m, unless they change (which I doubt).

Very good (for Pechstein) or sad (for Achter...), depends on who's side you are on, but i guess given all of them are dutch, they will probably still find a way to medal. :p

Attachment is the great fabricator of illusions; reality can be obtained only by someone who is detached.

People say they should get rid of women's hockey because only Canada and the USA can win.  Well, statistically speaking, the Dutch have won a greater share of the total medals in speed skating in the last two Olympics than CAN and USA have in women's hockey combined.  So maybe we should eliminate speed skating since it is not so competitive?  :raspberry:

Better not eliminate either of them :p

Ah, this is tiring. I've never heard someone proposing to drop track cycling. :p

After the British domination in 2012 they even increased the number of athletes that the big nations could enter in some events.

I was just kidding, of course.
