:CAN Erik Guay (2011 Downhill World Champion, 2017 Super-G World Champion and 2010 Super-G World Cup winner) has announced his retirement effective immediately. He was initially planing to retire at the end of the season but Manuel Osborne-Paradis' training crash yesterday prompted him to rethink competing this year.

In all Polish sport's websites is news that she announced retirement with tears in eyes due to leg injury and everywhere as soucre is posted this video

And her teammate Sam Edney didn't want a farewell slide like that but was very much present in the festivities as well, also for him it was goodbye.
