congratulations, great job !! I saw that you have predicted for team sports, it would be great to do it for individual sports too

Thank you for nice words @Benolympique, I try my best. ;-) Although I have already noticed some mistakes, but I will try to correct them soon.

Yes, I know that making predictions for ind events would be great, but that means a lot of work to me ;-)

Maybe I will try it later on.

I must say I have even tried to do it in a few events already - e.g. I made my predictions for Boxing - W Fly, W Welter, M Light (I mean, I made the prediction for the results of European Boxing Qualification Event which hopefully will resume in April)

In most of the events the "q" means these are predictions based on actual rankings so far (e.g. tennis, badminton), qualifying times achieved (swimming) or qualifying results achieved plus rankings combined (athletics).

Anyway, the biggest problem is still weightlifting, I really don't know how to prepare the early draft of possible start lists in weightlfting...

Maybe our weightlifting expert @Fly_like_a_don could give us an advice on that??? ;-)))

M, W and mixed doubles in tennis are hard to predict, as well.

@rafalgorkathis would look a lot nicer if you did it in Excel, don't you think?

Maybe you are right, but I prefer Word.

    • Weightlifting formula is more or less similar to 2020 which was considered terrible by everybody!    this is a tough sport, you can't be in your best shape for too many events. there will be risks of serious injuries this way. with these rules you need 5 good results to qualify. if you bomb out in an event to score a zero you are out of the Olympics unless you replace it with another event. which means most of these poor guys have to participate in 7-8 events (and not just 5) to make up for possible bomb outs.    most importantly if you get injured anytime during this period (almost 2 years) you are out of the Olympics! that's how Sohrab Moradi missed the Tokyo Olympics despite breaking the WR during the qualification period. you can miss the Olympics in 2028 if you get injured late 2026 !  Karlos Nasar couldn't win the Olympic title if we had these rules in 2024   I understand 2024 qualification formula wasn't great either, it had its own flaws but this one is much worse for threatening athletes' health.
