In the end England were the closest to bring USA to the extra time at least, while the Netherlands were really lucky to reach the final: outplayed by Japan, they got the weakest team in the last 8 and still Italy missed two big chances in the 1st half before collapsing in the 2nd, and a big help by the refs against Sweden.

A clear penalty for Sweden ignored by the ref and the VAR (around the 70th minute mark more or less), I posted the video in this thread somewhere...it's on page 60

Sad for the dutch girls for loosing, but against USA there was not much hope anyway.

 

But until the penalty they did played quite good, and i think they should be proud, being able to beat everyone until the final, they definitely deserved to be the second best of the world this time
