I have no clue what part of the left you're looking at right now, but as someone who leans left I don't recognize anybody I know in what you're saying.   People are very much in wound licking and internal recrimination mode, there is no apetite to fight at the moment, and there likely won't until Trump oversteps on something (which every president inevitably does).   The mood on the left is very, very different than it was in 2016 and for some reason it doesn't seem like the right is picking up on it at all.   There is genuinely not a lot of crying is goign on this time, sorry to dissapoint.
