15 minutes to go, hopefully it'll be shown somewhere...my biggest hope is on the Eurosport Player, on TV there's nothing yet.

Eurosport Player is live, my fear that it wouldn't be shown anywhere was incorrect

Odds of 1.4 for Ines Henriques to take the women's gold. Sounds brilliant judging by her PB being 14 minutes faster than anyone else, but I guess with all of these women having walked only one 50k it's a bit hard to really know what anyone's capable of

No live timing so far, even though they've already come past the start line two times. These championships really are not very good in terms of these kind of organizational stuff.

Now there's timing, and for some unknown reason they've chosen to only do it every 5km, that just makes no sense at all. Come on London

Well, if you rest the bar on narrower plates the bar will fall off if you touch it!

It would still be possible to touch it without having it move. If you make it so narrow that with every possible touch it falls, it could just as easily fall from a breeze of wind and you'd go to video reviews to see if it was touched, or if it only was a bit of wind etc

Two leaders in the women's race are already 1:20 ahead of everyone else after 5km
