Dear lord, we have the bronze, somehow. That was a great last quarter, finally the girls pulled it off when it mattered, but please, the next time just be a bit more consistent because this tournament was nerve wrecking for us.

This is one of the sports where I don't get how the US dominates the women's field but not the men's.

Probably women's water polo is still too unpopular?

With all due respect to   I feared having to play Hungary tonight, for obvious reasons.  Congratulations to them for a well-deserved bronze.

AS an American, there is a two word answer - Title IX, a US law requiring equality of mens and womens athletic scholarships at US universities.
