Tennis at the Summer Olympic Games 2020

Gold for Osaka is shaping itself slowly.

Kvitova with a bagel in last set... Definitely this season seems like a sunset of her career, though I believe she still has few good runs in her.

You must be happy for Vekic though, no?

Mostly yes. I got annoyed at her for choosing to withdraw from doubles due to an "injury" (which apparently does not affect her singles play).

This could have cost our doubles player Darija Jurak her Olympic status (you don't become an Olympian unless you start), but looks like she got accepted for the mixed doubles tournament so should be fine after all.

Hey guys, is this list final? https://olympics.com/tokyo-2020/olympic-games/en/results/tennis/entries-by-event-mixed-doubles.htm

Iga Świątek was to play mixed doubles and talked about it even today, but neither she nor Kubot are on the list and I am worried. The document with qualifying Rules I found says two things at the same time: that entries should be made by 20 july and that the exact date is tbd.

I thought it's open until tomorrow but now I'm puzzled.

I am unashamed, at getting nothing done.

Hope it's right... After the situation with our swimmers I am not sure about anything anymore.
