Raphael Holzdeppe has injured himself during the German National Indoor Championships and won't compete at the WIC in Portland. He hopes to recover in a few weeks and qualify for the Olympics, but it's not sure.

Denmark will only be sending Andreas Martinsen who set a new danish record in 60m hurdles at 7,69. (Sara Slott qualified in 400m as well, but has rejected participating)

Meanwhile most other olympic hopefulls have started focusing on the outdoor season and hopefully some Olympic participations.

Somehow our Dutch federation managed to set standards for Portland which in some events are just ridiculous. 1.97m in women's HJ or 4.71m in women's PV for example
