Again a great day for us! 4th and 5th place (and a lots of points for the women's nations ranking), but again no medal, and today for only 0.3 seconds  I can't wait for the women's pursuit :bounce:

So..

At first. Congrats :CZE and Gabi " What a amazing and absolutely perfect performance from A to Z. Already a legend:champion:

now back to SVK... Huge 8th place for Anastasiya Kuzmina, she is still not fulley recovered from her illness and still has strong cough, but still was able to manage 8th place, pitty for this 1 loop in the standing shooting, without this fault she would have fought for medals  Still not sure if she will compete in the pursuit, she will decide herself during the competition day, but today she once again proved that she know hoe to prepare for the major event and if she will be 100% fit she always fight for the medals, looking forward for next years olympic sprint and her golden hattrick dream...

Paulína was very fast thats finally a great news, she somehow finally found her skiing form, pitty she always destroy averything in shooting and this time surprisingly in the prone :wall:

In the Nations Cup we are still 17th but thanks today very nice points we increased a bigger margin ahead of Japan. also we are now some 800points infront of the 21st South Korea, so finally for the first time during this season our olympic 5 quotas looks more safe than they were untill now.:)

    • Is it true Mehdi Taremi could face visa issues due to him serving in the IRGC previously? Could US sanction professional footballers playing in World cup under FIFA?
    • For the summary and lowlights of Thailand's preparation in hosting the ongoing Sea Games, I kindly suggest those who are interested to read from this English language article from Thai media outlet, Thai Enquirer: https://www.thaienquirer.com/63469/thailands-sea-games-2025-under-fire-budget-management-and-technical-controversies/
    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
    • Wisła Płock just assumed 1st position after five consecutive draws. Must be first time ever a team on a five match winless streak actually moves up to league top.
    • Well ya, which is why the Egyptian and Iranian teams can shut up and dribble :P
    • The problem is, the World Cup is not a local event. Overall it's another storm in a teacup. LGBT rights in Muslim countries won't change a damn inch becuse of one soccer match in Seattle
    • After looking at the entry list of athletes in the official website, I've changed some of my predictions in the Olympic events with these changes:   Total Tally: Thailand 87, Singapore 51, Vietnam 48, Indonesia 33, Philippines 24, Malaysia 22, Cambodia 1     Badminton (5): Malaysia 2, Thailand 1, Singapore 1, Indonesia 1   Men’s Singles: Switched from Thailand to Singapore     Boxing (11): Thailand 8, Philippines 2, Vietnam 1   Men: -54 kg (-55 kg): Thailand, -60 kg: Thailand, -63.5 kg (-65 kg): Thailand, -69 kg (-70 kg): Thailand, -80 kg: Philippines   Women: -50 kg (-51 kg): Thailand, -54 kg: Thailand, -57 kg: Thailand, -60 kg: Vietnam, -66 kg (-65 kg): Thailand, -70 kg: Philippines     Sailing (7): Thailand 4, Singapore 2, Malaysia 1   ICLA 6: Switched from Thailand to Malaysia     Taekwondo (8): Thailand 6, Vietnam 2   -67 kg: Switched from  Vietnam to Thailand     Weightlifting (5): Thailand 2, Philippines 1, Indonesia 1, Malaysia 1   Men: -65 kg: Malaysia, -94 kg (-95 kg): Thailand   Women: -53 kg: Thailand, -69 kg: Philippines, -77 kg: Indonesia   * I saw that they have actually change the weight categories to almost match that of IWF newly introduced categories from several months ago.      Wrestling (12): Vietnam 7, Philippines 3, Indonesia 2   Men's Freestyle: -57 kg: Philippines, -65 kg: Vietnam, -74 kg: Vietnam, -86 kg: Philippines Men's Greco-Roman: -67 kg: Indonesia, -77 kg: Vietnam, -87 kg: Indonesia, -97 kg: Vietnam Women's Freestyle: -50 kg: Vietnam, -53 kg: Vietnam, -57 kg: Vietnam, -62 kg: Philippines
